Lahore Children’s Centre (LCC) is introducing a series of workshops with Dr. Mariam Haider on “Managing Bullying among Young Children and Teenagers”

These workshops are designed to focus on techniques and strategies to help bullies, victims and on-lookers.

Dr. Mariam Haider obtained her Ph.D. in Applied Child/School Psychology at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She has more than 16 years of clinical experience with children, adults, and families both in Canada and in Pakistan. Her areas of expertise include conducting comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments of children and teens with various developmental, academic, emotional and behavioural problems.

The intended audiences for these workshops include Teachers, Parents, Teaching Assistants, and Special Needs Assistants.

Workshop 1: Managing Bullying among Young Children Date: 22nd April 2017 Time: 11:30 AM till 1:30 PM

Workshop 2: Managing Bullying among Teenagers Date: 29th April 2017 Time: 11:30 AM till 1:30 PM

The charges are Rs. 1,000/- per participant and the venue is Lahore Children’s Centre (LCC).

Childhood Communication Impairment Course.

The Lahore Children's Centre is offering a course on Childhood Communication Impairment (CCI) which will enable the learner to recognise children who may have weaknesses in their early development and use acquired knowledge to work more effectively, adjusting your approaches and behaviour accordingly as well as addressing individual needs by setting realistic targets and learning programmes.

This 10 session long course is open to teachers, parents and special needs assistants.
